God will never leave nor forsake you!
Have you ever had moments in your life when you felt really scared or shaken about something? But then when someone or something reassures you or encourages you, you feel much better and a bit more secured.
Think of a little child, who may get frightened easily, they always seem to feel better when they feel protected. My little nephew often gets frightened by the dark or when something on tv scares him, but whenever I or my sister come to his aid and hold his hand he feels protected and then he's not scared anymore because he knows he is not by himself.
Just like a child can frighten easily, we can be shaken up by stress, burdens, obstacles and many difficult situations we face in life. But God wants us to know we are encouraged and do not need to fear because He will always be with us.
He says in Isaiah 41:13 - 'For I am the Lord, your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear, I will help you.' When life get tough, God wants us to know that He is with us and we can hold his strong, steadfast hand and feel safe.
We can trust in God's solid word that we have his full protection. So we do not need to be afraid because God is on our side.
Hebrews 13:5-6 says that God will never leave or forsake us, so we should be able to say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid!'
God will never forget us. He was with us before we were born and will always and forever be with us.
He says in Matthew 28:20 - 'And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age.' God wants us to always remember this.
So whenever we feel uncertain, afraid or faced with difficulties, remember that we are not alone. God will never leave us alone in our struggles.
He will comfort us when things get tough, give us courage and strength. He will also guide us, direct our paths and give us the answers we need for things to come into place. He knows all our needs and has promised to supply them. (Phil 4:19)
When we wait and trust in God, He will continue to encourage and reassure us by extending his loving hand for us to hold on to.
God's Word is sure! We can rest assured in it because He always keeps His promises because he is so faithful.
We are safe and secured in God's everlasting love and eternal promises.
