Transformation is defined as change process and it is does not complete overnight.

For a caterpillar to turn into a butterfly it has to go through stages, its metamorphosis. It can take from days to several months. During that time, the caterpillar is stuck, it cannot move and so it has to wait for the process to complete. While it patiently waits, it slowly adapts and changes its character and nature in order to prepare for its new purpose. The end process is worth it, as it transforms into a beautiful and colourful butterfly so it can then fly away, be free and utilise its new skills.

All processes have a purpose and happen in its set time because there is a time for everything and a season for every activity

(Ecclesiastes 3:1). They are worth the wait and sometimes we have to endure lengthy periods such as waiting for a rainbow after a storm or for spring after cold winter months.

In life, we sometimes have to endure slow and idle moments to wait for things to grow and blossom. This is because 'God makes things beautiful in its time' (Ecclesiastes 3:11). God promises that whatever we work or ask for will come to pass. This may be healing, breakthrough or a particular blessing. Habakkuk 2:3 says that 'although it may tarry and linger, it will certainly come and not delay.'

God wants us to rejoice in our idle moments, because it produces perseverance, character and hope which does not disappoint us - (Romans 5:3-5). During your struggles or difficult times, you are strong when you keep your head up and persevere, staying focused on God.

Our time waiting is never a waste. We may often feel that we have been in a certain place for a prolonged time or feel that we aren't seeing any growth. Instead of focusing on what we haven't yet seen, try to optimise on the small and gradual progresses rather than the whole, big change we are waiting for. When you do, you will see behind you all the steps you have taken to get to where you are today before the rest of the road ahead.

God wants us to grow, persevere and transform into strong characters, a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). When we are in Him, we can be ready for anything that comes our way. Remember that God makes everything beautiful in its time - (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

In the same way that flowers start off as a small seed and slowly blooms into a flower. God is slowly transforming and transferring us into new dimensions where we can utilise our purpose in life and stand out. It's your time very soon for your light to come (Isaiah 60:1).

Our future is bright and positive. God has appointed your time of joy and favour to come (Psalm 102:13).
