Everynow and then, we may often feel alone, especially when we are going through difficult times.

During difficult times, we may also feel that God is far away from us, if we don't feel or hear him.

But we must remember that God is never far away from us. Whenever we approach and call God, he will hear us.

'God is near to all who call on him... He hears us and saves us.' - Psalm 145:18-19

God will never abandon us, or leave us lost or uncomforted. In John 14:18, He says that he never leave us as orphans. He is a father to us and will always be there for us.

God also wants us to remember that he will never forget us. He says in Isaiah 49:15-16 - 'I will not forget you! See I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.' People tend to write things on their hands to remember things, but it can disappear when it smudge or fades. But God has engraved us, so its solid and permanent, It's never coming off! God didn't engrave our names on his hands because he will forget us, or needs a reminder. He remember us regardless. He engraved us to reassure us that he sees us every moment of every day.

Now God will never leave us until he has fulfilled his promise in our lives (Genesis 28:15)

He knew us before we were even born, and anointed us from the very beginning of our lives (Jeremiah 1:5). So he won't just forget about us halfway. He started his work in our lives before we came into existence and He will ensure to complete it to the end, when Christ returns (Philippians 1:6).

God is eternally reliable. He cannot lie or change his mind. When he says, he will act and when he promises, he will always fulfil (Numbers 23:19).

God will never leave us alone in our struggles. He has our best interest at heart.

Its important for us to believe this and trust God whole-heartedly to work for our benefit and on our behalf.

True trust and faith is believing that God will take us through, even when we don't understand the process.

Trusting 100% is knowing that God is working behind the scenes in our lives.

We can't see the behind-scene productions while we are at the front, centre stage until we are presented with the finished results at each scene.

We must trust that the behind stage directer knows what he is doing, preparing what we need for each scene and looking out for us to ensure that the play (our lives) will go smoothly and lead to success.

Directors work backstage and make productions happen. God wants to be the director of our lives. He will never impose himself, we must allow him to do so by trusting him with all our hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6).

When we entrust God with our lives, our everything and allow him to take the lead, we will never be disappointed.

When we trust in God, we will never be put to shame (Psalm 22:5).

Remember that when things seem silent, God hasn't forgotten about us, he is working behind the scenes in our lives before he reveals his Glory.

We are in safe hands! God promises to lead us to our purpose and fulfil his promise in our lives. Trust him!
