Whenever we start something, we tend to devise a plan or timetable. Most of our disappointments in life stem from not reaching expectations or when things don't go as we have planned or hoped. When God created us, He devised a great plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11). However, His timetable is usually never the same as our own. Whatever God promises will come to pass, but not always within our time-scales or formulated plans.

You may not be where you want to be today but it does not mean that you won’t get there someday. If things in your life aren't going exactly how you had planned or if certain things are not happening right away, it does not mean that you will not get what you have been promised.

Life will never be perfect; it will have its ups and downs, joys and pains. However, we must remember that every bad day is a step up towards a good day.

God works in our lives even when we don't feel it. He also wants us to remember that He is with us during every good and bad moment in our lives to strengthen and encourage us.

After heavy rain and storms, the sun eventually appears. No matter what we go through, God will always bring us to a place of abundance (Psalm 66:12). This is because as long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest, summer and winter, day and night will never cease (Genesis 8:22).

The whole essence of seasons is that they are temporary and have an end date, so that a new one can begin. God sustains us during seasons and ensures that we grow from every season we go through, so that we are prepared for the next one. God always promises a harvest which can never be taken away from us.

Before God moves us forward, He wants us to persevere and endure tough seasons so that we can fully develop to be complete and lacking in nothing. When we persevere and align ourselves with God's will, then we will receive what He has promised (Hebrews 10:36).

God makes things beautiful its time. He has put eternity into our hearts and no one can fully comprehend what God is doing from beginning to end (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

We will gradually get to where we need to be, it takes just one step at a time. Everything that has happened in our lives is preparing us for greater moments. God wants to use our whole lifetime to prepare us for eternity and greatness, so He is not in a rush. He also works everything for our good, so we are in safe hands (Romans 8:28).

Remember, it is through faith and patience that we inherit what has been promised to us (Hebrews 6:12).

Don't give up because God has not given up on us. He has taken us this far and will not leave us stranded.

Have faith in God's timing, He is never late!
